Cleared to sing': Phil Wickham recovers from surgery in time for KM concert

Members of Christian Freedom Baptist Church in Kings Mountain booked Phil Wickham for Saturday's concert two months before the singer-songwriter lost his voice and had surgery on his vocal cords April 28. "We found out about a month ago, he was cleared to sing," said Darin Brown, a deacon at the church who is helping coordinate the event.
