Three Washington County residents have been charged with stealing firearms, jewelry and other items from a Sharpsburg home, the Washington County Sheriff's Office said.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a large amount of stolen firearms that were taken from a house in Sharpsburg.

Since August the Fairplay Volunteer Fire Department was suspended.
