Bigger trade shows, bigger conventions and fuller hotels in the northern suburbs are promised when the expansion of the Sharonville Convention Center is finished, scheduled for the fall of 2011.

Sharonville's popular convention center is about to more than double in size. The city broke ground Friday on a $23 million expansion that will take the Sharonville Convention Center from eight rooms with 27,000 square feet of space to 19 rooms with more than 63,000 square feet of space.
