Forest, house blazes stretch fire crews
A 10-acre forest fire off Route 313 and a house fire in Sandgate that claimed the life of a dog had area fire departments stretched thin on Saturday.
Residents were paying their respects over the weekend in the aftermath of a fatal fire that began Saturday morning on Lincoln Street.

In a written release, state police said the 911 call reporting the house fire came in at approximately 10:47 a.m., at 134 Lincoln St.
