When will people realize that the dare program does not teach kids not to use the drugs, it teaches them what the drugs are and how to recognize them. My class took D.A.R.E. in the fifth grade and 90% of them are still using drugs today! The only thing that keeps kids from drugs is first of all their free will not to do any of them, and the parents that raise them teaching them that they are harmful and disgusting. Dare is a waste of the taxpayers money and another way the Government teaches crime to our children!!!!!

100% agree. Not to mention that very few 10 yr olds care about drugs or alcohol. DARE isn't a solution for parents not talking to their kids about drugs.

Move the dare age up to the teenage years. Then show those kids the real nasty blood and guts of drug use without holding back at all. That may do a little more good than a mickey mouse elementary program which kids forget as soon as they get influenced by middle school social groups.

I completely agree James. I forgot all about D.A.R.E. and when I was in my late teens I began experimenting and it became an addiction. I was a user for almost 7 years. I eventually was incarcerated, put on probation and went through an outpatient rehab program that helped me to get clean and stay clean. Teenagers need to see the problems not the "glorification" of drugs. Meth rots your teeth, makes you look like a skeleton, makes you paranoid, pick at your skin, and numerous other harmful effects. Show a video of someone shooting up and missing the vein and having to rush to the ER to get help so they dont die from it. Show them the reality of a drug lifestyle. better than showing them what a drug is and how to smoke it!!!

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Aquarius

Someone is being bombastic and overbearing, and you don't like it. You aren't prepared to take their behavior lying down, but standing up to them is likely to result in a rip-roaring row. Well, it seems that the row is almost inevitable, and perhaps that's just as well because it won't do you any good to swallow your anger or tolerate this person's boorishness for much longer.
