what an injustice it would be if john white is found inncocent even as it is a disgrace that he was only charged with manslaughter. They claim he was defending his family and home but answer me this what weapons did those kids have other than their voices(which it is freedom of speech). if john white feared for his life, why did he not call the police. in this country it is illegal to take the law into your own hands and under laws of using deadly force and individual can only use deadly force if deadly force is brought upon them. i understand Mr. White felt his family was in danger/ life threatening danger but that is what the police is for. It took those kids 20 minutes to get to Mr. White's house and considering we have one of the highest paid police departments and the upper class neighborhood the White's lived in the police would of been there long before the car full of unruly kids arrived. i understand the boys used racial slurs which i am not condoning in anyway but they are intitled to freedom of speech and last time i checked words never killed anyone at most might of hurt your feelings. this case should not be considered a race case. it should be taken for what it is, a man who took the law into his own hands, a man who felt it was appropriate to confront a 17 year old with a loaded weapon, a man who was in so much fear but not enough fear to call the police, a man who ruined not only the lives of the boy who was killed but the lives of his own family. this whole case is a disgrace that man killed that boy in cold blood.

If you looked at the parents, of the teen, who was part of that MOB, that terrorized Mr. White and his Family, you could see, in their eyes, and in their comments, that, the "apple didn't far from the tree". You could see, where, the kid's Hate came from, so it was no surprise, that his end, was violent, and a waste. A person has a right to defend himself, his Family, and his property. Sad as it is to conclude, The kid deserved, what he got, in the end. It's too bad that his parents didn't teach him, that what he did was wrong, before he got shot. It was their responsibility to teach him that. But it appeared, in media coverage, the Parents didn't think those kind of things, were important. It's sad that the parents have to suffer the loss of their child, but if they brought him up, without Hate, it wouldn't have happened.

What kind of family is it where the son uses the father to kill his rival? Not a very nice one. You would not find that in the families from Long Island.

His "rival?" Yes, Aaron planned the whole thing ... talk about crazy. Aaron was asked to leave somewhere that night and he did, quietly. Dano was told to leave Mr. White's (with a gun pointed at his face) and instead of leaving, he grabbed the gun.

Freedom of speech does not include tresspassing and making threats. If White was in fear of being harmed which is reasonable to assume, manslaughter is the correct finding. In my day if a kid went to somebodys house and acted that way with adults your own parents would have put their foot up your ass for being disrespectful. Its unfortunate but you play you pay

Spoken like a true blithering reh-tard. As the poster from Maine said, freedom of speech does not include threats and trespassing. If a mob of racist ginzos comes to my lawn threatening my family(weapons or not) and property Im sure Ill have my mossberg cocked and ready to defend whats rightfully mine. If this case were as clean-cut as ypu people portray it to be...he wouldve been charged with murder. period. Out east LI, south shore trash all act like this. Adults as well as teens. Yea its unfortunate this kid died, and im sure he didnt see it coming, but it happened as a result of his own actions.
