Engagement: Pitcher, Streutker
Wayne and Debbie Streutker of Bremerton, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Sarah to Kurtis Pitcher, son of David and Lisa Pitcher of Seabeck.

Beaches: The state has added beach openings for razor clam digs. The state Department of Fish and Wildlife is planning new digs at Long Beach in March and at Copalis and Mocrocks in April, based on updated harvest estimates showing a sufficient number of clams in those areas to support additional openings.
Another weekend, another batch of snow for some parts
Here we go again. Much like last weekend, we have cold air and moisture joining together to bring some snow to parts of Western Washington, while the rest of the region will just be soaked with a typical rain.
Pickup driver injured in Seabeck crash taken to hospital
An accident involving a pickup and a motorcycle Friday evening on Seabeck Highway resulted in the truck driver being taken to Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton, according to Deputy Scott Wilson of the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office.
Magnitude 3 quake near Bremerton
A spokesman for the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network at the University of Washington, Bill Steele, says there was only report online that the quake was felt and that was in the Port Ludlow area.
She is the daughter of Georgia Walker of Wenatchee and Brad Walker of Chewelah. His parents are Victoria Seabeck of Wenatchee and Kenneth D. Montgomery of East Wenatchee.

Man gets 10-year prison sentence for meth, guns charges
A Port Orchard man, who worked for Kitsap County, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for meth and guns charges Feb. 7 in Kitsap County Superior Court.
