Colonie bank robbery suspects facing more charges
A man and a woman already charged in connection with a Colonie bank robbery at Corporate Woods are now facing more charges for two other bank robberies in the area.
Guilderland police arrested Christi Fraser, 35, and Charles Slade, 37, both of
Saratoga Springs, on Thursday for the July 9th robbery of the First National Bank ofScotia on New Karner Road and the July 19th robbery of the Pioneer Savings Bank on Western Avenue.

Scotia man admits to attack on jail guards
The Schenectady County jail inmate accused of assaulting seven corrections officers, sending four to the hospital, admitted to felony assault Tuesday.
In return for his plea, Christopher N. Ingalls, 22, of Scotia, received six months in jail and five years probation. He was released because of time already served.

Market to make its mark on Scotia
The Village of Scotia will begin hosting its first farmers market from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays, with two local growers, John and Linda Berger and Clifford Bard, setting up shop in the parking lot next to the fire department on Mohawk Avenue.
Kathy DeMarco, of the clerk’s office in Scotia, said the village is very excited to be hosting the market from now through the end of October.
