Schurz cowboy wins 'World's Greatest Roper' title at Reno Rodeo

A Northern Nevada cowboy is the World's Greatest Roper. Preston Williams, who grew up on the Walker River Indian Reservation at Schurz, needed to heel a steer in 7.9 seconds or less on the last throw Sunday to win the coveted title in the fourth annual World's Greatest Roper competition at the Reno Livestock Events Center.
