Gale Warnining In Effect For Lake Superior

The National Weather service has issued a gale warning in Lake Superior West of a line from Saxon Harbor in Wisconsin to Grand Portage in Minnesota beginning Mondayy around 10a.m. and lasting until Tuesday at 1a.m. Expect sustained gale force winds or frequent gale force gusts.

Governor Doyle approves $3 million for US 2 improvements in Ashland County

As part of national efforts to create jobs and provide immediate economic benefits to Wisconsin and the country, Governor Jim Doyle has signed a $3 million contract to improve nine miles of US 2 between Odanah and Saxon.
