Truck fire stops traffic for 2 hours
A truck hauling diesel was struck by a boom truck on N.D. Highway 23 south of Sawyer about nine miles east of U.S. 83 just after 12:45 p.m. Thursday, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
Sand and sandbags will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Many of the locations will not have shovels, so people will have to bring their own.

Yesterday, some people were concerned with the rising water levels in the area. And, they felt that Ward County officials were not listening to their needs.
And, just about 7 miles east of Logan, the potential threat of flooding is also becoming a growing concern in Sawyer.
