Frank J. "Frankie" Eibensteiner, age 84 of Elrosa, died Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at the CentraCare Nursing Home in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.

At this time a year ago, a lot of farmers in the area had already planted their crops.

Although the weather appears to have finally shifted into spring mode, the effects of it's late arrival will not go unnoticed by outdoor enthusiasts over the next few weeks.

Crews will work on Minnesota Highway 28, west of Sauk Centre, starting Monday. The road will be resurfaced, drainage will be improved and the guardrail will be replaced or repaired.

A Sauk Centre man was sent to the hospital for treatment after his vehicle left the road and rolled Thursday afternoon.
