What good would penalties do? After all a penality would be paid with our tax dollars. More waste. Jail terms would be better for the person in charge. Still at a cost to the tax payer. But it would send a message to those who want to waste our money. For every agency that has not submitted their account info, no more money for anything, period for 5 years. Now that would send a message.

Furthermore, why didn't Mr. Balderas and other "in charge" detect this immediately?

Accountability falls on the auditors as well!

Just another way of showing that the State of
NM is not being run efficiently, elected officials
are spending way too much time on their own
pet projects or getting elected to other
positions etc (while not earning their paychecks).

If people did this in corporate America they
would be gone.

The other puzzling thing here is that someone
has broken the law yet no one is willing to
take them to task and hold them accountable -
OH YEAH IT'S A LIBERAL IDEA - HOLD NO ONE
ACCOUNTABLE FOR ANYTHING THEY DO OR DON'T DO.

Time to start firing for effect Fat Bill!

California needs to get it's own state in check before making cxomments on another state. I grew up in So.Cal., and I remember when they decided to start off shore drilling. Thank You Ca. for your destruction of so many birds, fish and land.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Sagittarius

Once again, the domestic atmosphere isn't exactly peaceful. Someone is still all worked up, and you may have come out in sympathy by now. Try to discuss things with as much objectivity as you can muster, otherwise, with Mars now retro, the conversation will soon disintegrate into a bad-tempered spat or a slanging match in which you try to catch one another out. It's important to clear the air.
