Allegiant A320 at Orlando on Aug 22nd 2018, bird strike
An Allegiant Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration N254NV performing flight G4-2292 from Orlando Sanford,FL to Syracuse,NY , was in the initial climb out of Sanford's runway 27R when the crew reported they took a bird on departure and needed to return to Sanford. The aircraft stopped the climb at 4000 feet and entered a hold, the crew advised they were too heavy for an immediate return.
