Former Indiana Speaker of the House John Gregg from Sandborn was the guest speaker at a Veterans Day program conducted at Anderson-Poindexter Funeral Home in Linton.
Jack J. Hurst, 74, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009 at his home in Sandborn.
Child molesting case dismissed before trial starts
The trial of a convicted child molester, James Leslie Alsman, also known as Jimmy Alsman, was scheduled to start on Thursday but it didn't. The case was dismissed.
