"A deer jumped out in front of me and I lost control of my car. No I wasn't speeding or coming back from a night of boozing in Fairfax. I don't know why my car was able to fly off the road, travel a distance across the fairway and make it to the pond. I know I was going exactly the speed limit. Why didn't I call the police to report an accident? Well because I didn't want to disturb the police and firefighters so I went home to deal with it later. Why do I smell like booze? I shouldn't because I went home and took a shower, changed my clothes and gargled with Listerine. But if I do it is because I was so shaken up by the event that I started drinking right when I got home to calm my nerves. No I wasn't some idiot speeding while I was drunk endangering other's sons, daughters, husband or wife.".
