It sounds as though Temple City voters think that the schools are continuing to do a good job and they chose to retain their board members. This is a tough time for school districts with the state budget cuts and experience matters.

I tried to get them to hold a campaign event at my restaurant but nobody would return my calls. The School District is too squeaky clean for me--no allegations of drug dealing, bribery, search warrants, pay-off's. How boring! Anyway, the winners and loser are still welcome to have an extra side of bleu cheese dressing when they drop in and...

It is a sad day today to know that the city of San Gabriel can be bought. Well at least Svonkin is out in two years, hopefully.

Knollenberg go my vote and support because he wasa not affiliated with the old regime. While Smith on the other hand was known to most of us as a hidden player with his affiliation to the "Unholy Trinity" HILLARD-WILSON-SEARS A vote for Smith was a vote for the old broken establishment in most of our books that have been paying atttention these past years. |
