You tell em Joe, these people have ruin El Paso they have set El Paso back many many years and many more years to come, El Paso will never be a properous city and everybody through out the country will continue to degrade it make fun of it call it all sorts of names and El Paso will flunk every survey a knuckle head can think of, time for a shrimp cocktail who needs county goverment?

Mr. Meunch do you know how to use the EPCAD WEBSITE? Just plug in Norma Chavez name (where she votes on Trowbridge). House is listed as HOMESTEAD! Do you have a homestead?

I would love to go see what type of house it is. If its a little crappy house then one could argue she just uses that address to be able to vote in that district and therefore serve for that district. I believe that's what people are talking about when they say she doesn't live in her district. Just like the allegations about Dee Margo moving into an apt on the west side to run against joe moody. When I am back in EP I'll check it out

I heard Rep. Chavez on a talk show today, she said the talk show host had been inside her house. Actually, she said in her kitchen.

You must be friends with Veronica Escobar who has no respect for poor or working class people. Her remarks about the "good welfare flavor" is sure to follow her her entire career. Unfortunate.

Little Miss Piggy, ahem I mean Veronica Escobar will never be elected again for anything. Escobar and Cobos both need to go and stay out permanently of politics. We need honest people and these two just don't cut the cheese, not even "government cheese". Veronica will not get elected neither south of the freeway nor north of the freeway. The woman argues and argues and argues for the sake of arguing. Escobar is a disgrace to womanhood.

I just read the Newpaper Tree article about Veronica and Susie making those comments to the reporter and am appalled that they can be so stupid! To think people have elected you two to represent El Paso! I am SO disappointed in you both! Veronica, you have NO business running for County Judge! No wonder people have been talking about you both! You are as bad as Cobos and Quintana!

Can somebody please tell me what Veronica Escobar has done for our town? PLEASE! And please don't tell me she was responsible for the medical school and children's hospital. Yes, she supported them but so did every single commissioner and politician. Many people and elected officials have been working for the school and hospital for the last 10 years!! And the voters of El Paso, including me voted to have a children's hospital.

Veronica and the current commissioners just happened to be in office when the director for Thomason, Valenti and his board decided to put the issue out for the voters to vote on it. But you watch Veronica and Cobos taking the credit when they run for County judge.

Thanks for the story and youre right! The commissioner Veronica Escobar should be ashamed of herself. She degraded us all here in El Paso on a national publication PLAYBOY to make it worse! What was she thinking? She degraded herself as a woman and degraded all of us as women as well and the low income and less fortunate of our city too. I've totally changed my mind about her and Susie Byrd. How embarrasing! She should not be our commisioner any more and she should resign.

Posting on this and other threads about the Playboy article to keep it alive as long as possible. One of Norma's "friends" was overheard at a local watering hole laughing and talking about what they're doing (spending all day trolling forums to post about Escobar as much as possible). They want to get Escobar out of office and want to help Larry Medina become the next County Judge. One of those "friends" of Norma actually works for her and is on the government payroll. While she's supposed to be working for the district, Norma has her glued to the internet posting as much as possible. And that's how your tax dollars are working for you.

I wonder why Norma doesn't like Veronica? Of course, who does Norma like? Norma is so vindictive, it shouldn't surprise me that she's got someone posting things about someone she dislikes.
