Supervisors' Vote to Improve Ramona Road
The estimated $32.8 million project will widen and straighten out sections of 2.25-miles of San Vicente Road - a narrow, hilly, winding, mostly two-lane road that has been the scene of dozens of accidents, including fatalities, over the years as Ramona has grown in size.

Cedar Creek Falls restrictions a success
Instituted in April, the restrictions have ended what had become a serious problem along the trail and at the waterfall beginning in 2008 when at times more than 1,000 people descended the trail, more to party than to experience the outdoors.
