San Bernardino is a wild and wonderful city

Full story: San Bernardino County Sun

I am so glad there will be no runoff in the San Bernardino mayoral race, which, as you might recall, especially if you live on a street littered with a thousand yard signs, pitted the incumbent Mayor Pat Morris against challenger City Attorney Jim Penman.

The problem in San Bernardino and across America is "changing the subject". An old political trade secret. Change the subject so they don't question the way things are done. Change the subject America and bury your head in the sand while politics and government spend trillions, displace families, wage wars, strip our freedoms away, and yet we still just change the subject to avoid the pain of what is happening to our country. Everyone wants to go to heaven, yet nobody wants to die! What are we waiting for America? Total enslavement? I urge all of San Bernardinos officials and employees to remember who pays their salaries, WE THE PEOPLE. If your going to be in politics and take the lives of Americans in your hands, then you had better be prepared to defend and stand for ALL your cities residents. I demand that the name calling, bickering and fueding STOP now and that the jobs you have undertaken are delt with seriously and with compassion for others and not yourselves. Your positions are public service positions, serve the public and do it with integrity or you might be out of a job. The people are fed up and tired of these childish antics and we DEMAND CHANGE and it starts today. Some of you must take an oath to accept an position, remmber it, live it and don't ever steer away from it. Have a great and wonderful day!

Dsn Bernardino was past its prime in the 70's. Now its an embarrasment, and deadly for our kids. Until the politicians in this dump start doing something, this City will continue to decline. The City allows Penman to do whatever he wants, even refuse to cooperate in criminal investigations. Morris on the other hand ignores the obvious crimes that Penman is propogating. Its obstruction of justice if anything. There is no hope for this City with the politicians we have and are going to have. Time to move and refuse to spend 1 dime in this corrupt place.

ALL CITIES have their ups and downs. There is no perfect city! ALL cities are exactly the same, they have a respectable area and a not so respectable area. Before you start to insult the strong city of S.B. take a look at YOUR city first.

San Bernardino suffers from lack of pride and civic duty. Both are a result of corrupt politicians and elites that do not think enough about creating a city and more about maintaining a town. Businesses close at dawn, nightlife is nonexistent due to limited business permits for such businesses, the streets are horrible, and simply too much blight.

IF only residents would shop a little more often in our city instead of driving to Redlands, Ontario, and Rancho Cuca..

You obviously have always lived in SB and don't know anything different. It is a horrible place to raise a family, pass through or do any business. You must be on massive doses of psychotropic drugs.Pomona is the Ritz compared to your sting cesspool city.

Have you or someone you know been robbed? Crime rates are high, i will not deny that. I do not think people should be so scared of criminals that they are too terrorized to live. There are two types of people, the scary ones and the rational.

Fresno, mo val, colton, bloominton, pomona, apple valley, barstow, banning, muscoy, yuciapa, calimesa, hemet, norco, s. ontario, s fontana, i could go on... At least we are close proximity to mountains, lakes, beach, with numerous things to do. I know this city has issues, but come on. Some residents act like they never go outside, to you I say oh well. There is so much to do in this city, the sad thing is that too many residents here do not know about it. The truth is the city does too little in marketing the place even to their own residents.

I was in San “Borninaghetto” yesterday. I looked at Will Rogers picture on the California whatever it is building, then did a little research. Is there a chance Will Rogers accidentally killed himself and Wiley Post when; during takeoff in Alaska, he was told by Post they had to return to San Bernardino. Rogers might have yanked the controls from Post and crashed into the lagoon instead of coming back....

Just a thought. Oh, bye the way, the permanent transient who lives there has deposited two new lagoons onto the front entryway of 320 N. E Street. Wear your boots boys and girls…

Lovely...

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Cancer

Take things gently otherwise you'll end up running round in ever-decreasing circles. Yes, you may still have a lot to do but you won't achieve very much if you develop butterfingers or waste all your energy on a full-blown panic. Maybe you could rope someone into helping you, rather than doing your Cinderella act in the kitchen while everyone else takes it easy?
