Deputy Superintendent Darrell Echols announced today that a fourth vandalism incident, the third in three days, occurred at Ramp 23 on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 resulting in the closure of the ramp near Salvo, NC in Cape Hatteras National Seashore.
National Park further limits access to NC beach
National Park officials have further restricted access to a North Carolina beach ramp to prevent off-road vehicles from illegally entering an area closed to protect breeding birds.
