Novi girls stop Mustangs

Novi pulled out a 19-25, 22-25, 25-21, 25-20, 16-14 win over Northville Monday in their Novi-hosted district opener to improve to 41-8. The Wildcats played Plymouth Salem last night in a district semifinal and, if they won, will face the winner of last night's Canton/Plymouth match for the District 18A championship 7 p.m. tomorrow at Novi High.
