Arlington superintendent apologizes for not showing Obama's speech

There is absolutely no reason to apologize. It is because Obama hates Bush, and this is not the a President should act. I think the school district did the proper thing. Cramming Obama down the kids throat, because he wanted to do this during school hours. He should have made his speech to everyone.

I have two kids who have graduated from Arlington schools. As a parent,I would definately want to know the reason for interupting every school across this country with his speech.
That is pure arrogance, the me snydrome and he has been trying to cram everything he wants down our throats.

Oh good grief, I'm not racist. It's his arrogance, not his color that bothers me. I come from the west Texas town of El Paso. My parents didn't raise us to be racist.

I didn't teach my kids or grandkids to be racist. You need to go a little farther south. I deplore the Conferate flag and the racism of the South.

You need to come up with something else. BTW, this is just my opinon. It's the racist in this country that spread hate, and I'm on your side about that.

Love how quick the racist card gets played in this... This is 2009 friend, not 1964.

Racism has noting to do with it but it does give you a good "Hot" button to push.

Well, I don't know anyone who would 'heat blacks'. That's a whole different offense.

I'm from GP now living in Arlington and there is bias on both sides. Blacks that hate whites, whites that hate blacks, and everyone seems to hate the Asians and Hispanics. No human can or will solve this problem, white, black, or otherwise.
