Safford City Manager arrested for DUI

Safford City Manager David Kincaid was arrested for DUI late Thursday night on 20th Avenue in Safford. Kincaid was stopped by Safford officer Wayne Crum for a speed-related violation. Shortly thereafter, Officer Crum requested assistance from a Thatcher police officer. A field sobriety test was issued by Thatcher officer Scott Mulleneaux. Kincaid failed the test and was arrested by Mulleneaux. A sample of Kincaid's blood was taken at the Thatcher Police Station and sent to the Arizona Department of Public Safety's crime lab. Kincaid was then released pending results from the blood analysis.
