... but Halloween is basically a Christian-created day, so why would a Christian Church not celebrate what they created?

NOTE: The church in the article with the "hell" display has it all wrong. "Hell" would be spending an eternity with people from that church.

If you want to feel that your life has been a long one, just go to church every day.:|

That's why I don't do.....

I don't believe that I have to go to church to be religious.

I have a more personal relationship with God....with little outside influence.

I'm going through a lot of life change. Currently, I'm not going at all although I've gone weekly or more for most of my life. I may go back at some point. I'm not closed to the idea......we'll see.

Not really. The fall equinox and the pagan celebrations were already in place. The day after Halloween is a Christian holiday. Most of the holidays were reworked or co-opted by the Christians to "clean them up." Easter and Christmas were not originally about Christ, but Christians put their own holidays on top of them. There are no original Christian holidays. It was a way to ban certain holidays. You really cannot ban a holiday, because people will still celebrate somehow. But you can change the meaning and rituals, and destroy the old holiday with a new one on the same day.

The message should be that if you do not get rid of the illegals this is what Texas is going to turn out being.

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Capricorn

You're dashing around in several directions at once today because you're gripped by the burning desire to get things done. You're in a tearing hurry, and the problem is that this could make you rather irritable if things don't go the way you want or people don't jump to it. You might also be feeling angry with a friend, even if you can't put your finger on what's wrong.
