Man dies after early morning fight in Rutland
Authorities are investigating the death of a man who they say died after an early morning fight in the northern Iowa town of Rutland.
Deputies from the Humboldt County sheriff's office responded to a report of a man down in the street just before 4 a.m. Saturday.
Forty-one-year-old Michael Lee Ruberg of Dakota City was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The sheriff's office says an autopsy is scheduled for Sunday at the state medical examiner's office in Ankeny. Read more
