If you would help us Mr. Haugh, help the ER...so many are turned away, poorly examined or misdiagnosed, kept waiting an extraordinarily amount of time. The staff treats you okay if they know you or if they think you will report them..My daughter waited 2-3 hours and was basically ignored,, sure there were many sick people out there, but can't they call back-up..I don't see how you can justify a less than adequate ER and still run an over the top hospital.

I was disappointed the last time I was there. About two months ago I took my 2 year old to the ER. She could not breathe very well. Her stomach was contracting because her airways were closing. She was in and out of consciousness. When she was awake she was disoriented. The receptionist knew this. I sat in there for 2 hours and 20 min. before they called us back. As soon as the DR saw her she was given injections of steroids, antibiotics, and breathing treatments. She was put in ICU for a couple of days.
I think they need a nurse in the waiting room to examine patients to determine the extent of their emergency. While we were waiting, a lady came in with a cut on her leg, a man came in with a headache, and a lady came in with chest pain. They all came in after us and were seen before us. I've heard of other hospitals that have a nurse there to check you out immediately. Thankfully my daughter did not quit breathing or worse.

I wouldn't even consider going to the ER at Logan Memorial. You can be in BG in 30 minutes so why take the chance. It has always been bad and it will never change.

You will have a long wait in the B.G. ER's too, either of them, so what is your point?

Go to Springfield clinic, waiting time is short. I've never been there but have spoken with several that have been there.

I said nothing about the wait. I was refering to treatment overall. What is your point?

Wasn't talking to you imbored2, so whats your point? Anyone with any sense knows you go to the dr. or the er when you are sick and the wait is sometimes as bad as the sickness, especially when you have a sick child, so go figure.

I'm not going to comment on the actual subject at hand...but I will say I have met the new CEO on several occasions and he not only seems very kind and concerned about the well being of LMH, but he is also pretty nice to look at!! lol

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Aries

A certain person is being very feisty and fiery today. You may also suspect that they're looking for an argument and will provoke you until you rise to the bait. Trigger points include shared finances, sex and any topic that is currently supposed to be off-limits. You'll probably discover that you want to clear the air, but don't get carried away.
