Russell man charged with DWI after reporting accident with deer

A 27-year-old Russell man was charged with driving while intoxicated after he went to the St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Office to report that he had struck a deer. Deputies charged Curtis M. Slife, of 221 Curtis Road, Russell with driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent of above Friday.
