Ruidoso race track may move to Las Cruces
After calling Ruidoso Downs its home for more than 50 years, the race track and casino could be forced to relocate to Las Cruces.

Of course the state will grant the tax break, it makes more money than your business, therefore it is more than likely to see a tax break more than your silly business..... |

All who live in and round Ruidoso Downs should show a lot of consern with this issue. If the track moves, it will mean a lot of jobs will be lost to all.

Keep the racetrack in Ruidoso. That is the home of the All-American Futurity and it should stay there!

There is no way the people in Sunland let it happen.

If it is a 'state' tax, why would the rate be any different in Las Cruces? Las Cruces and Sunland Park are IN New Mexico just like Ruidoso Downs, so what is the REAL scoop on this? It would be a shame to 'move' the race track! It belongs up there, in the cool pines, where it is actually a treat to attend, not down here in Las Cruces....!
