Rescue drama after Wasco Co. crash injures 2

Two people were injured early Saturday morning when their car slid off a remote, icy highway east of Wasco in Sherman County and plunged about 150 feet down a steep embankment, Oregon State Police reported.

Interstate 84 westbound lanes between Rufus and Biggs Junction were closed Thursday morning following an injury traffic crash involving a commercial truck and semi-trailer that came to rest across the traffic lanes and on top of the center concrete median barrier.
