A family of 6 was displaced following a Saturday house fire in rural Linn Grove.

The annual Pony Express ride hit the road Friday. As riders throughout the state, worked to raise monies for Camp Sunnyside, aiming for a state wide goal of $200,000, area communities showed their support.

The Pony Express riders of Clay County will hit the streets this Friday. Clay County Organizer Donnie Essick tells KICD News that the annual fundraiser to send kids to Camp Sunnyside in Des Moines kicks off at 8:00 in Everly, then hits Royal around 9:00, pops up in Peterson around 10:00, gallops to Sioux Rapids around 11:00, and wraps up in Spencer ...
