Rural school district taxes to rise
Taxpayers living in the outlying rural school districts will see their mill rates go up anywhere from 48 cents to $2.06. Officials from Rosholt, Almond-Bancroft, Iola-Scandinavia and Tri-County school districts said the increases are due to a reduction in state aid and declining property values.
