The neatly manicured yard of Bob and Cindy Humphrey, 395 South Main St., Roseville, is the first winner of the Roseville Garden Club's Garden-of-the-Month. The well-groomed yard and flowers, especially the landscaped berme, and the overall eye-appeal earned this award.

Roseville Ambulance, GAAS Ambulance, Roseville Rescue Squad, the Warren County Sheriff's Department and Illinois State Police were on the scene of a one-vehicle accident July 2 at 4:43 p.m. one-half mile south of 60th Ave.

Roseville Rescue squad members responded to a call at 10:33 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at Route 116 and 15th Street, for a one-car accident.

Saturday, May 16 is Armed Forces Day, and Roseville's Avenue of Flags will be displayed at local cemeteries, weather permitting.

Monmouth-Roseville School Board members were officially seated and sworn-in at a re-organization meeting Tuesday, April 21.

Annual Village-wide yard sales will be held Saturday, May 23. Sponsored by the Roseville Chamber of Commerce, the sales will get underway at 8 a.m. and run throughout the day.

Roseville firemen responded to a mutual aid call from Abingdon Fire Department on Saturday, April 11, at 5:25 p.m. at the intersection 80th Ave.

A 911 call to the Smithshire Fire Department April 14 at 5:00 p.m. for a corn stalk field fire at the intersection of 2100 E and 1150 N. Henderson County, ended up with three departments on the scene.

Paul Woehlke was hired Tuesday as the new superintendent of the Monmouth-Roseville School District.
