Not-for-profit group forms to purchase Rosendale Theater
A recently-created community organization is trying to raise $20,000, by Dec. 1, toward purchase the Rosendale Theatre, an anchor of the historic Ulster County cement town that is owned by a family with strong Dutchess County roots and is one of the region's last independently-owned cinemas.
Steps are being made to eventually link the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail system to the Hudson Valley Rail Trail and across the newly opened Walkway Over the Hudson.
