Aragon man enters not guilty plea in shooting death of his wife
A former Aragon man pleaded not guilty in Polk County Superior Court Tuesday, May 14, to charges of murdering his wife.
Shay Alexander Merritt, 32, formerly of 11 E. Second St., Aragon, was indicted last year on charges of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault under the Family Violence Act, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and first-degree cruelty to children.
