Nearly 100 Illinois Troops Heading To Afghanistan

A deployment ceremony has been scheduled for roughly 100 soldiers from the Illinois Army National Guard who are set to begin a year of service in Afghanistan .

My son Cory is serving in the Battery B, 2nd Battalion, 130th Infantry from Effingham.
God speed on your return from Afghanistan.

Thanks to all who serve and to their families for supporting them. My brother is a Marine and we're so blessed to have him back in the states after 2 tours in Iraq. Dios los bendiga!
