Man dies when struck by freight train in Riverside
A man was killed Saturday, July 7, when he stepped onto railroad tracks in Riverside and was struck by a freight train. The man was hit by a BNSF train about 12:25 p.m. where the tracks run under Iowa Avenue near E. Citrus Street, Riverside Fire Department Battalion Chief Tony Perna said.
