Health officials are telling nearly two thousand people to boil their water tonight -- after two separate water supplies were contaminated by bacteria.

Blind-sided: At 1:45 a.m., a patron at Capone's Pizza Place in North Bend walked out to the parking lot from the front door after closing time and was punched by an unknown person.

This Kent subdivision is virtually encircled by the Green River. As winter approaches, emergency managers now agree they need to quickly raise the levees along the lower river - all 40 miles of them - before the rains begin in earnest.

Some 1,600 residents who live in the Riverbend development east of North Bend are being told to boil their water before drinking it, after routine tests of the water supply showed contamination of e.coli bacteria.
