Proposed village budget calls for 3 percent levy hike

River Hills a ' Taxpayers would see a 2 percent tax rate increase of 12 cents per $1,000 of assessed value under the proposed 2010 budget For the owner of the average home assessed at $700,000, taxes would increase less than $100 for the village portion of their tax bill, from $4,193 last year to $4,277 this year.
