Elections Board is told to stop charging municipalities for registering voters
“The state interpreted the general statutes this way. You can look at it a couple of ways. We have signed contracts from all the towns for the periods involved. They signed the contracts.”
The State Board of Elections has directed the Craven County Board of Elections to update its contracts with local towns and cities and discontinue charging them for registering voters. via Sun Journal
