Just yesterday I drove up to my house and there was an illegal man at my front door and another on the side of my house. I put my window of my vehicle down enough for me to ask what he wanted. Of course he wanted food, said he hadn't eaten in 2 days. I told him no. I would not provide him with food. Then, I was afraid. I had a 14 yr old child with me and he saw this, I feared he would try to retaliate and come after us. I calle BP, but ended up flagging down a black n white and he helped put me at ease by capturing them. After the incident, I couldn't believe my actions! My mother was a Border Patrol Agent for 23 yrs n I should have learned something! Yet with my doors unlocked I roll the window down and talk to this illegal! 23 years of my mothers training went out the door. But all is well that ends well.
