I am amazed how fast the Valencia County Commissioners can waste time dening a citizens request to rescedule a hearing item concerning the so-called recycling plant that will obviously be a bad idea for this area and community and yet no action has been taken or dicussed about bringing the MUCH needed hospital to this area.( If there has been any progress in this matter , no one has been talking about it.) Case-in-point, I took my 91 year old grandmother to the Presbyterian Urgent Care a few days ago because we had concerns about a swelling knee of hers,and we wanted her to have it looked at. During her " sign-in", and while I was parking our vehicle after haven taken her inside,she fell and hurt her arm. Her arm was bandaged by the nurse, but then we were not even seen by a doctor after that for approximately 3 hours even after she fell inside the hospital! She left in worse shape than when we got there! Would that have happened if we had a hospital here ? Come on Valencia County! Get the hospital built! Worry about a stupid recycling plant later!
