"Connection," a new magazine for Barry and Lawrence counties, has been launched.

One hundred and counting! That's the number of bridges the Missouri Department of Transportation has now fixed as a part of its commitment under the Safe & Sound Bridge Improvement Program - an initiative to fix 802 of the state's worst bridges in five years.

Helping kids develop healthy eating habits and active lifestyles are two of the main goals of Cox Monett Hospital's Committed to Kids program, which begins on June 8. This will be the third summer, that the hospital offers its innovative eight-week pediatric weight management program to area children and their parents.
