Don't do the crime if you can't do the time. Even if family does, I have NO sympathy for them if they get caught.

Too bad they didn't pack away Jeromy Young. Although he isn't from the area he is just as bad in it as anyone else. I've heard that he sends his girlfriend down the road to do favors for drugs......real classy!

I mean really if these drug busts are helping with the problem so much , how come they have to have one every year? My take on it is this, drugs ruin good people I have seen it first hand. Here is a plan how about having the doctors put their script pads away for a minute and trying less addictive methods. More treatment options need to be avaliable. Locking someone up for a year or two solves nothing. Jails are way to over crowded the way it is now. How about mandatory treatment before locking people up and throwing away the key.

its not that simple, if it were it would be done that way. and come one now, what kind of question is it to ask why we have drug busts each year. get real. its because more people start doing them everyday.

Well maybe you haven't noticed that the same people get busted over and over. So my question to you is the jail time really working? Um no! All I'm saying is that there needs to be more treatment avaliable. I'm not saying everyone that does drugs or sells drugs is a great person and deserves a pass. And yes I realize more people start doing drugs everyday. That is why more help should be avaliable

What does that have to do with anything? Are jails not overcrowded? After people finish their sentences do 50% of them not return back to jail for the same crime? Why is treatment such a bad thing? And no I haven't been to jail

i agree with you on the doctor thing cause i have to go like 3 counties over to go to the doctor cause if i go around here and you tell them you are haveing pain they just think your a drug dealer or a junkie and they send you home with some i b profin and not even tell you what is wrong with you or even take a good look they just expect druggies most of the doctors act like they dont even care

this is my opinion mind you OPINION. jail does not work and may actually be a learning experience for some neither does treatment most don't even complete it. the only thing I've ever seen work is education. Just as the kids have learned smoking is bad as is unprotected sex and its working statistics show more kids every day benefit from education less of them smoke than 10yrs ago and they are more aware of protecting themselves from std's if they would only take some of the funds used to lock people up and fund education we may have a chance to save our youth. Let me know what you think discussion brings change.

This town is ate up with everything cause of needles and infested druggies. Ones that will do anything for a fix. Its terrible. Itll take the equivalant of an A-Bomb to clear out Nicholas County of druggies.

I must just live in a hole. I may see a few folks around that look like "drugies". BuT I sure don't see anything that amounts to the entire County being eaten up with it. My real big question is where in the world does the money come from for it? Somebody told me that 5 pills...idk what kind...cost 60$...that's TWELVE dollars a pill. That's just crazy!!!! Who has that kind of money?
12 whole dollars

Daily Horoscope for December 15

Pisces

This is a great day for understanding what's going on under the surface of things and for tuning into the subtle messages that others are sending out. For instance, someone may say one thing yet you'll be utterly convinced that they really mean something quite different. However, they won't like it if you say so, so you'll have to maintain a tactful and discreet silence.
