It would have made a better article had The Berkshire Eagle reporter said more about Norma Ogden's and Jane Fitzpatrick's background and each's involvement with the founding of the museum.
Similarly, more could have been reported about Lila Berle's background and her involvement not only with the museum but also with many other Berkshire institutions via her private philanthropy tied to being one of the direct heirs to the vast Cornelius Vanderbilt fortune. |
