2-year-old struck, killed in accident

When you get a crowd of "adults" with children it sometimes becomes a "party" mode. Sometimes we adults get so wrapped up in conversation with other "adults" that we lose our primary focus (our children). I don't know much about the situation, however, was there any drinking involved? It only takes a second to lose sight of a child in the daytime. If it is dark you should have the children that small in a playpen or on a rope, or better yet, in bed! Never depend on others to watch your small children in a situation like that. No one else cares more about you children than you do. My condolences to the family of this child.

So if you leave your child with a babysitter and that child gets killed by a vehicle .. does that mean you should have your other children taken from you because you neglected to watch the child properly?

I have personally seen the mother and know her. She is a great mom I was not there and I don't know what happened except for what I was told by the mother of whom I trust. The CPS was called and it was ruled as an accident. If there was any reason she was unfit they would have taken the youngest baby and whoever said it the father would have gotten custody but none of that happened because she is a great mom and grieving horribly. She loves her kids and her family. And for all you people that are trash talking her EVERYDAY get a life and cherish your kids if you have any because in a blink of a eye they could be gone. car wreck drowning in a pool getting ran over god knows. when god calls one of his children home there is nothing you can do to stop him we don't know why he does it but he does and he loves and has doen so much for us.

you people who are bashing one of my best friends make me sick!! you werent there so how can you say you "know" what happened?? kayla and her family are very dear to me , she is a wonderful mother!! you all should be ashamed of urself!! you come on topix just to run ur mouth so you can hide behind ur computer monitor. i bet if u saw her in person you would be two faced and sympathetic towards her and her family, like most people are here in this shit hole of a town. what happened was an accident.. it was just his time to go.. we never know when its our time to leave this earth. whether she was right beside him or two feet away it was meant to happen. stop bashing her and her precious family!!! bet that u didnt know someone else was posed to be watching her kid when this all happened did u? if anyone should get charged it should be that girl who was posed to be watching him i know kayla u prolly didnt because if you did you would know she loved that little boy

ok im tired of reading these and to all these people who say josh loved him he wanted something to do with trey yea mother fucking right he hadn't seen trey since dec nor paid child support im pretty sure he didnt help out with the funeral either when kayla was preg with trey josh went around saying he didnt sleep with her it wasnt his kid so when trey was born yea he was at the hospital to everyones supprise i cant tell u how many ppl didnt expect him to be there they went get got a paternity test done and low and behold trey was joshs it took him forever to start helping out with child support then trey got sick soon after he went home was in dallas hospital where was josh? yea he was in the military but he can get emergency leave. its funny how he cared so much but yet didnt show up at the hospital or to family night and before the funneral told kayla he wasnt going once again i shocked to see him when he actually did show up and yea kayla may have made some mistakes in her life but who in the hell hasnt u wanna throw up her second kid and his dad thts none of ur business. there is another thing some bitch on here and i know who u are wanted to say this is all kaylas fault blah blah blah if she was so untrustworthy with her kids why would u leave urs with her krystal u dirty fucking slut

i know someone that knows all parties involved and was told that the mother asked a friend to watch the kid while she ran upstairs and the kid walked off without the person seeing. by the time they got to him it was too late.

i know her and she probably wasn't even payin attention to her son

it drives me crazy to sit here and read this bullshit that you people have to say , IM BEST friends with the mother and i know the ENTIRE story, which im sure most of you dont, it was all a complete accident!! no one should be charged with anything!!! and to the ones of you that are still talking shit, about the mother... really if cps and the police thought she did something wrong, dont you think something wouldve been done by now... really, how would you feel if it was you in this situation and you were constantly hearing stuff that people are saying about you , and your parenting skills when you KNOW you are a good parent....and especially at a time like this... i dont think youd like it... now would you??
