Hammer-wielding woman arrested

A drunken, hammer-wielding Redwood Valley woman was arrested early Sunday morning on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, making criminal threats and violation of probation.

Old news UDJ (as usual). This story ran all day long in the online Press Demo yesterday. Pretty frustrating when our own local paper can't keep up with Santa Rosa's when it comes to our own local news.

If that is true then he and our super cop on the UPD who gives out record numbers of v.c. 23102(a) tickets (DUI) and then he gets off goes to Vic's, drinks, gets in his car without a seatbelt and drives home!

people that get on these forums and start slandering when they don't even know what their talking about should really be the ones to get a life here! why does everything have to involve pot? this had absolutely NOTHING to do with pot. it had to do with ALCOHOL!!!! she was drunk and completely out of control due to the alcohol! so for all of you out there that THINK they know what their talking about, you don't know anything. also, for the record, john pinches does not drink alcohol. he may go to this bar in redwood valley and he may go to al's BUT he does not drink alcohol. so therefore i suggest you people that get on here and spew lies about others should do their homework first!

i appreciate you starting this out with IF THAT IS TRUE! before people start posting they should check out their facts first! john pinches does not even drink alcohol, and wears his seatbelt and does not condone even speeding, let alone drinking and driving. so please, find out facts before you go talking about people.

Hey I agree with you, people shouldn't say sh!t unless they know the facts and I certainly don't know about any of the other things said here re: Mary or John BUT Mary WAS in the arrest logs a few months back for cultivation of MJ hence my earlier comment about the frequent flyer miles ;-)

This County is pleagued with alcoholism, drug addiction, pot use among children, poverty... higher than the State averages. Something really needs to be done.

the same age (30 years old then), and then of Laytonville, was arrested for drunk driving by the CHP back in 2006. Google it up, you'll see it in the UDJ. Same woman? Don't know for sure, but seems likely. I don't have a clue if she's the same woman busted for pot, or John Pinches' daughter.

your right about frequent flyer miles. but the part people have talked on here about this being all about pot is an out right lie. this incident had absolutely nothing to do with pot. just as the person that said john pinches drinks and drives from the bar. that is an out right lie. thank you for your commenting back and clearing things up here. have a good night!

i find it very sad when people tend to blame parents for their grown childrens behavior. there are parents who have done everything in their power to raise their kids to do the right thing, and for some reason they just don't.
