Quake rattles California, 2 other states
A 5.7-magnitude earthquake hit Plumas County and reverberated throughout the north state tonight, though no injuries were reported as of 10:30 p.m. The temblor struck near the southeastern shore of Lake Almanor around 8:47 p.m. and was felt in Redding, Sacramento, Reno, McCloud and elsewhere.
