2 arrested in Wurtland drug raid

Hope the illustrious chief of police in Wurtland isn't taking credit for any of the action concerning the drug bust on Adams Ave. He has driven by that residence every living day and a blindman could have seen what was going on there, but it is obvious that the so called chief chose to ignore it. "Nuff Said". He is a waste of taxpayers money. I wonder?? Was there ever a background check done on him before he was hired? I doubt it.

Everyone knows he does nothing for the city. So how can he take credit for anything that happens there. But there is one thing he does do is lie and cheat the city out of money with all the “overtime” he get for passing off calls to other department so he wont get a DUI. He sets at his house on his a%# drinking beer more than he works. But the ones that are on the city commission are stupid for keeping him. Wurtland had better police protection when he was off for a year when he was “sick” and Raceland took care of everything.

could u or would u do your job 24/7? A cop has got to have a beer every once in awhile too. You Wurtlandtonians or whatever are lucky to even have a police dept. Shut up or pay more taxes. Oh no, not taxes. Thats how cops are paid. Your city requires more than just one officer! If ya don't want piercy you can always wait 45 minutes for the sheriffs office to get there. Or Greenup can be there in minutes but then their city bitches. Hire more police or shut the hell up. Snort ya another oxy dumbass.

Thank you for that comment duh....I have never seen more people grip and complain about police protection in my life! Gripe when they have too much of it and gripe when they think they dont have enough....If the cops are around all the time and seen they are obviously screwing someone or harassing them! If theres not enough protection then they think they are lazy and out doing stuff they aren't suppose to!!! KILLS ME!!!

For one thing I’m a volunteer firefighter and never touched drugs in my life so don’t run your mouth about me doing oxy. Pills are bad here as well as all over there needs to be more busts but if he is not doing his job how can there be. He doesn’t get paid by taxes its the water bill payments that pays him the taxes barely runs the city . Having a beer every now and then is not his problem its setting there having a case or 2 maybe 3 and not doing his job when he should be working. He is on call 24/7 and most places require you not to drink when you are on call. As far as having Greenup come to Wurtland they shouldn’t have to do that it takes away police protection form there city I’m sure that the people that live in Greenup need there police to stay there so they are protected form the pillheads and not some were else when they need them.

We need more cops that will do the job there is no such thing as to much police protection. We don’t need someone that has fought to not hire anybody for years so he can keep his job. Because they don’t know what a real cop is like.
