TKM: Milford Township to Invoke "BYOB Law" Restrictions on Coyotes' Illegal Sex Club
For the past month and half, The King's Men have been actively engaged in a fight to prevent a sexually oriented business (SOB) from remaining open in Milford Township, Bucks County (about 3 miles from TKM's headquarters). The "Coyotes Show Club" successfully opened on December 14, 2007 through a temporary license as a sports bar. The Coyotes Show Club owners lied to the Township Supervisors about their proposed business operation and then upon receipt of their license immediately filed a federal lawsuit against the township on the grounds that their Constitutional rights were being violated.
On February 6, 2008 at a public hearing for the township supervisors, The King's Men officially entered the battle as concerned citizens. After assuming a leadership role at this hearing, TKM decided to officially intervene in the proceedings by retaining the services of Virginia attorney Patrick Trueman, a former U.S. Justice Department offical and legal expert on sexually oriented businesses. Trueman served in the Administration of President Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush and headed the Criminal Division's Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section.
[The below information is taken from a Press Release issued by The King's Men, Inc. on March 18, 2008]
The King's Men told the Milford Township Board of Supervisors in a legal filing that a permit must be denied to the Coyotes Show Club. TKM stated in its memorandum that Coyotes violates Pennsylvania's so-called BYOB law, Title 18 Pa. C.S.A. Section 7329. The law prohibits "any lewd, immoral, or improper entertainment" at a Pennsylvania bottle club. TKM's memo stated that Township Board must include restrictions that prohibit nudity, performer/patron touching, and the removal of doors in private rooms where customers have private sessions with club strippers. "The Coyotes strip club permit should be denied, but, if for any reason a permit is granted, state law requires that these conditions must be imposed," said Mark Houck, President of The King's Men. "We told the Township Board that no one has a right to run an unregulated sex club in our community," added Houck.
I am happy to tell you that the Milford Township Board of Supervisors has decided to put in place the restrictions that TKM put forth in their memorandum of law.
A final decision will be made Tuesday March 25, 2008. Please keep the Township Board in your prayers as they try to enforce the existing law and what is ultimately in the best interest of the citizens of Milford.

So is the law different for places where you pay for alcohol versus where you dont?

the law the queens men refers to is widely unenforced because local govts didn't want to waste taxpayer dollars on an court fight they wouldn't win. Looks like Milford will be raising taxes....after the taxes go up....and they lose in court ....those politicians that were pandering to the yahoos will be turned on by thse same yahoos and voted out. It used to be if alcohol was served....the LCB had jurisdiction. That's why so many places went BYOB to avoid the restrictions.

Haywood states:
"I'm happy to tell you that the Milford Township Board of Supervisors has decided to put in place the restrictions that TKM put forth in their memorandum of law." When was this meeting held? When were these decisions made? Who's giving info to Haywood? Sounds like a violation of the Sunshine Law to have meetings not announced & not open to the public. |

I seem to wonder if Mr. Haywood thinks he may have implicated himself into the "Coyote's Mess" with his "reporting."
I ain't so sure he can back up all he says in court when McGogney adds him to his suit list. Slander, defamation....could be potential snags for him. Don't think for a second his lawyer brigade is'nt looking at these blogs, articles, stories, rumors etc.. with a fine toothed comb looking to implicate others. Just my thought on the situation |

Additionally, his website like to the "Kings Men" seems to have been taken off topix.
Interesting.... |
and his posting of personal info might get him in hot water as well. In another post you claimed he might have wiped himself out? Was that an attempt to cover his tracks? Coyotes could always get the info from topix....it's still there somewhere...just like when a guilty party attempts to get rid of emails...there is a record of it somewhere...at the very least I have a copy of the post he made disclosing the personal info |

Looks Like all the intimidation tactics have worked...What ever happened to free speech? Nothing here has gotten close to libel(written)vs slander(spoken)The purpose of a forum is for personal opinions and exchange. |

Somebody already pointed it out long ago. Haywood is a plant. He has a job to do here. Check the threads. He arrived just prior to Milford breaking the news HERE, via Haywood, of Coyotes arrival. Just like Haywood broke the news HERE last night of the BOS decision.

That is false...unfortunately in today's world we have seen the implication of what a person rights, whether violent acts, incorrect data or false rumors. Take a look at the school board incident when someone was just having their "right to free speech?" The things some of you write can have significant value to other people...especially when it comes to lawsuits. Word to the wise...choose wise words |

the only intimidation I've seen was by Haywood Javote posting personal info possibly attempting to incite another strike by the "friends of milford twp" according to Javote(and his credibiltiy is zero)...topix removed the offending post so they must agree. Luckily I made a copy of that post....weren't you the one trying to intimidate me by falsely claiming I was the one that posted the info....and you were going to "turn me in"..mr/mrs hypocrite? |
|
Then Close the darn forum down...I refuse to live my life being intimidated by Lawyers threatening lawsuits. You have to live you life as you see it, not walk around afraid. Try to get a Lawyer to sue another Lawyer they won't, same club. The Lawyers are/have ruined this Country. They've removed diving boards from pools, caused a shortage of OB/GYN doctors, brought Class Action suits that ruin good Companies while only they get money from the suit, driven ALL insurances through the roof, Fight Tort Reform, frozen the USA's ability become energy independent and since most in Congress are lawyers..Look at what gets done. Pathetic! |
|
No, I was just following your lead.. It's all in the Public Records anyhow easily obtained in on-line County records...Give me your name and I'll show you. |
|
So you're the unregistered haywood Javote? |

Thinks Mr. Citizen is a jerk. A blog is not company e mail subject to company ownership and therefore used to fire someone for transgressions done on the job. Reporting the findings in a newspaper article can hardly be called slander. Get a life, take more HGH, or roid somewhere else. Do not intimate to people that they will 'get in trouble' when all you really want to do is shut them up. Teeny brain and i wonder what else. |
